Pineapple Coming Out Kicking

After a month of VERY successful market sampling and selling, our newest flavor is ready for prime time.


This product was the result of hearing of a desire for a spicy ‘Chups flavor. Growing up with families who embrace the heat, we couldn’t agree more with the sentiment, and were eager to make a spicy fruit ketchup to join the flavor gang.

The reaction at tastings has been fantastic and spicy pineapple has quickly become a favorite. We are extra excited to bring this unique product to market and into the hands of condiment lovers everywhere!

Spicy pineapple is available for sale on the ‘Chups website and currently in the following stores:

  • Union Kitchen Grocery (Capitol Hill; Washington, DC)
  • Ah Love Oil & Vinegar – (both Shirlington and Mosaic District locations; Virginia)

We couldn’t find it more fitting to be launching in MOM’s Organic Markets the week after Mother’s Day! Serendipitous, indeed.

We are pleased and excited to be joining the MOM’s family – a wonderful locally-owned and operated business. MOM’s started out of a basement in Rockville in 1987 and now operates a dozen stores throughout DC, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania, bringing almost 30 years of passion to the importance of food sourcing, farming, and other global environmental issues.

We’ll be rolling out in their locations over the next few weeks and scheduling tastings along the way, so keep your eye out while shopping!!!

Oh hey, Whole Foods

foggybottomWFWe are very excited to share with you all that ‘Chups will officially be launching at Whole Foods! Starting this week, the Foggy Bottom location will be carrying 8 oz jars of our mango and cherry flavors.

In the crazy and awesome modern food world, Whole Foods definitely marks a certain milestone for a food product. Not just for us as the food makers, but for the so many consumers who hold Whole Food Markets in such high regard. It’s a food entity that has cultivated trust and respect from consumers and we could not be more happy to find ourselves held to that standard!

To herald the occasion, we’ll be hosting this week’s Wine Down Wednesday event, which is held from 5-7p. For $5, there will be various dishes (chicken, tots, hot dogs and brussels sprouts, to get specific) served with mango and cherry ‘Chups, as well as …. WINE!
