Kickstarter Success! Ketchup Revolution raises almost 200% of original goal

When we first conceived the idea of launching a Kickstarter for ‘Chups, we were confident that we could put together a successful campaign. We knew we had a uniquely fun idea, the creative wherewithal, and the hustle in us to make it happen.

But original ideas, especially one that challenges a whole population’s inherent understanding of an age-old staple such as ketchup, come with many unknowns. Mainly, will people (besides our friends and family) embrace the ‘Chups concept and hand over their hard-earned money for something they’ve never heard of before?

Well, we all know the answer to that now. Today, the Ketchup Revolution planted its flag in the ground with 493 people pledging over $22,000.

Almost 200% of our original goal!

To say we are thrilled is an understatement. Inspired, humbled, elated, energized and thankful only begin to describe our emotions.

But the work is far from over. After all, we have 493 people to feed!!! 🙂

By early next week, we hope to have a more realistic reward fulfillment calendar posted so all our backers can know when to look out for their packages. While ideally we would love to stick to the original dates posted, realistically, we may have a little push back due to the large number of pledges.

We will be burning the midnight oil to deliver rewards as quickly as possible, but if for any reason you would like your reward delivered by a certain date, please let us know and we will try and accommodate your request.

For anyone who was not able to pledge but still want to get their hands on some ‘Chups, we will have the online store up and running by April!

Thank you again, so much, for your support through this campaign. It truly means the world to us!

– Matt & Kori
